Visit Big Four Bridge
Big Four Bridge is a pedestrian bridge that once served as a railroad bridge. It was first completed in 1895 and updated in 1929. In 2013, it was reopened as a tourist attraction, as part of the Louisville Waterfront Park. It’s seen as a great place for locals and visitors to enjoy some fresh air and beautiful views of the Ohio River. If you’d prefer to bike, there is a path on the bridge.
The bridge is about one-mile long, or a two-mile round-trip. This is a great place to stretch your legs if you’re on a long drive or snap a couple great photos! If you’re on a romantic getaway, you definitely don’t want to miss this attraction.
