For one night only, “The Original” Vevay Ghost Tour and the Schenck Mansion Bed & Breakfast will join forces on Tuesday, October 31st for an experience you won’t want to miss.
Enter a world of hidden pasts and dark secrets, stories that will send chills down your spine as you join us for a spirited journey in historic Vevay. Explore the eerie history, lore and some spine tingling stories as you walk around town and tour three different locations:
- The Historic Hoosier Theater (1837)
- The Old Jail (1854)
- The Schenck Mansion (1874)
All three locations are reputed to be haunted, and the tour will offer participants the opportunity to meet and hear actual haunted experiences.
After the tour, guests will have a 15 minute reading with Ellen McKittrick, a psychic medium and author (Yearning to Talk to Heaven). McKittrick has been giving readings for almost 20 years.
The cost for the evening tour, reading, and snacks is $75 per person in addition your overnight stay at the Schenck Mansion Bed & Breakfast. The tour begins at 6:30 p.m., rain or shine, from the mansion. “The Original” Vevay Ghost Tour donates a portion of the tour to the Historic Hoosier Theater. Tour guides encourage those on the tour to bring their ghost hunting equipment, flashlights, and cameras along and take advantage of the opportunity to gain access to these places.
